Electric vehicles have fundamentally simpler drivetrains than ICE vehicles — no engine oil, spark plugs, or exhaust system to maintain. However, EVs still require periodic checks of brakes, tyres, cooling systems, and the high-voltage battery system by authorized technicians.
Build an EV maintenance record from the start
Use the maintenance information supplied for your Tata EV to understand what needs attention and when the vehicle should be presented to the appropriate workshop. Keep the records from each visit together. This gives both you and the service advisor a clearer history to refer to.
Mention changes you notice in the car's operation when arranging a visit, even if you cannot identify the cause. Share the circumstances and any messages displayed. The workshop can then assess the concern and explain the recommended next step without relying on an incomplete description.
